I know how challenging it can be to maintain a regular yoga practice. I've been there, I'm a real person too, I have the same life struggles. (That's why I still attend yoga classes with my own teachers at least once a week, to look after myself and further my own practice.)
Connecting with a teacher and attending regular yoga classes at Berry Springs will help keep you accountable and help you improve.

Learn the foundations of Ashtanga yoga. This class is suitable for all levels and abilities and is the best place to start if you haven’t practiced yoga before. I gently guide you through a modified beginners sequence of postures from the primary series. This is a steady-paced class with plenty of instruction and demonstration. It includes centring and warming, sun salutations, modified standing postures, basic seated postures, preparation postures for back bending the finishing sequence and a nice long relaxation.
If you already have a regular yoga practice, this class is suitable for pregnancy.

When you’re ready to move up from the beginners class and try some more challenging postures this class is a more energising practice that builds both strength and flexibility. I guide you through the first half of postures from the primary series including sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures and preparation postures for back bending and inversions. We end with the finishing sequence and relaxation. We focus on connecting the breath, pose and gaze as you move through the practice. I recommend you have some previous yoga experience or have attended 4-6 of my Foundations classes before attending this class.
This class is not suitable for pregnancy.
(This is a 2.5 hour session with flexible start and finish times)
If you prefer to practice Ashtanga yoga in its traditional form, this mysore style class is for you. It’s a self-paced class not a led class, meaning everyone practices the same postures but in their own time, rather than waiting for cues from me. Over time you’ll gradually learn the Ashtanga yoga sequence of postures with guidance from me only when needed. You’ll receive individual one on one attention in a group setting where I provide hands on, gentle adjustments and verbal instructions that are specific to you.
If you already have a regular practice this class is suitable for pregnancy.
Note: This is not a 2.5 hour long class. Mysore classes have a flexible start and finish time, meaning you may come and start your practice anytime between the scheduled hours. Simply leave enough time to finish your practice before the scheduled hours end.
